Pediatric Dentist

Leslie Murray, DMD, a board-certified pediatric dentist specialist, prides herself on having created a cheerful practice, where children are given time to feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.

For Dr. Murray, the dream of Iris Pediatric Dentistry started long ago, while watching her mother practice as a dental hygienist. She saw fascinated by the way the whole dental team worked together to make the office function with ease and efficiency. While out around town, her mother always seemed to recognize friendly faces from cleaning their teeth and would talk to them about their lives like they were old friends. Having a profession centered around true teamwork and sincere connection with families was her example of what dentistry should be.

Dr. Murray completed her dental degree at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in South Jordan, Utah. She continued her education at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC before going on to complete pediatric dentistry residency training at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Following graduation, Dr. Murray joined the residency program as an Assistant Professor, training residents in pediatric dentistry. In 2021 she put down roots in Denver to grow her own practice! She is excited to care for the children in her community by delivering cheerful, attentive, and family-centered care to the neighborhoods of Central Park, Park Hill, Northfield and Commerce City.

Dr. Murray continues to teach residents at Children’s Hospital Colorado one day per week. She thinks this is a great blend of hospital dentistry and private practice and helps her keep her training polished!

When not spending time at home snuggled up with her pup, Ella, or gardening with her husband, Levi, Dr. Leslie likes cooking, painting, cross-stitching, and reading.
